I can make you a small, fast, and secure website for your small business, for your HEMA club, or for whatever other purpose you might have in mind. I have several years of experience building websites for a variety of businesses and HEMA schools and can make recommendations to help for a variety of budgets.
It is crucial for your business or club to have a website. Without a strong, central, and consistent online presence, your marketing efforts will be undermined, and people will be less able to find out about you. A simple but well-written and well-performing website is all that you need to tie up the loose ends and to act as an accelerator for further growth and sales.
We will start by discussing your needs. Once I know what you need, I will be able to offer you a more accurate quote for the work.
We will then hammer out the details of what the focus of your website should be, precisely what you want to achieve with it, roughly what your website should look like, and what pages you need to be able to achieve your goals. I will set up a basic website skeleton for you so that all you need to do is just fill in the text on each page.
I will not write the text or find images for you. You need to do this for your website yourself. I can, if you wish, offer some advice and suggestions.
I will make sure that the necessary plugins are installed for the website to be fast and secure. If you would like me to host the website for you and perform basic maintenance on a regular basis, I will arrange the details accordingly. If you do not want me to host the website for you, that is fine, but you must set up the hosting service yourself and give me access to it while I work on your website for you.
Fees and budget
For a small website that requires only a day of my time to set up, the fee is £350 (my daily rate).
For a larger or more complicated website where I need to configure more options or solve more difficult problems, you should expect the task to take at least a second day (if not more), and should budget accordingly. A good rule of thumb is that the more complicated your needs, the higher the fee is going to be.
If I need to purchase any software licences for your website, you must pay for these. However, I will ask you for permission before I purchase any licences, so that you do not run into any unexpected fees.
Book my services
If you would like to engage my services for building your website, please contact me by email and describe the nature of the work, providing as many details as possible, so that we can discuss the project and your needs.
