A list of my standard fees for the different services I offer.
For teaching at an event:
From the autumn of 2023, my typical daily rate is £350 per day of teaching, which includes all the necessary preparation time. I also request expenses for any travelling and accommodation (though I am quite happy to sleep on a couch and not bother with a hotel).
For more information, please see hire me to teach.
For private tuition and online coaching:
From the autumn of 2023, my fee for online coaching and private tuition is £50 per hour or £30 for half an hour. Discounts are available for AHA members and regular students.
For more information, please see online coaching.
For intensive training courses in Liverpool:
From the autumn of 2023, I would typically ask for £275 per day, or £450 for a weekend, or £1250 for a week. This could potentially be open to negotiation, although I’m more likely to be able to offer discounts for longer stays.
For more information, please see intensive courses.
For website development:
For a small website that requires only a day of my time to set up, the fee is £350 (my daily rate).
For a larger or more complicated website where I need to configure more options or solve more difficult problems, you should expect the task to take at least a second day (if not more), and should budget accordingly. A good rule of thumb is that the more complicated your needs, the higher the fee is going to be.
If I need to purchase any software licences for your website, you must pay for these. However, I will ask you for permission before I purchase any licences, so that you do not run into any unexpected fees.
For more information, please see website development.
For website hosting:
In exchange for the standard hosting and maintenance plan, I request a fee of £5.00 per month, paid automatically by direct debit. This may go up to £10 per month if your website needs more resources.
For editing and proofreading:
The fees for editing and proofreading work will be calculated after assessing your document for both word count and whether light or heavy work will be required.
For more information, please see editing and proofreading.
