A unique person once inspired me to be creative because he once created one of the most unique voice-over systems in the sector of the voice-over marketplace. Radio Daddy - Voice-Over Exchange. So where's that creative mind now Keith ???

Radio Daddy which we all know very well for it's radio topics full of banter, bloopers, and some of the finest voice talents (Back in the day). This was a unique little site until the pod-casters and back room Dj's started abusing the exchange process which obviously led to the abusers being banned and then they'd go write-up articles about how bad Radio Daddy was and how poor their system was actually set-up. Funny, they never complain when they where using and abusing it. :)

Before long everyone was taking digs at poor Radio Daddy. :( I think it damaged the sites reputation a lot based on some publications. And I guess most of the voice talents over there got tired of being used and abused as talents and most of which had left the site because of users exploiting it.

But taking this little story in my stride for a moment, this is exactly the kinda thing I'd like to set-up myself but I'd like to do it in a different industry! I've seen some pretty amazing talents come through Radio Daddy, people I wouldn't expect to sign-up because it was a "free exchange service"....of course this was in the early and good-owl-days. Some famous names are listed in their member list. Go digging guys. I'm not publicly allowed to name them...prior to creating this blog I was refused permission to name two of them. Anyway.....

How hard can it be to create something with so much potential especially if it is a flawed-free system and achieve success with it ? I'd imagine if you've got good construction and designer skills it would be fairly easy. How hard is it to pick the right industry to do this ? To god dam hard...I know this though, I'm going to create something big for the year 2010 ! I'm still on the drawing board!
